streets-UK is an independent limited company specialising in community consultation, community benefits and community development.
We work for a wide range of clients in the private, public and third sector and have a focus on property, infrastructure and regeneration.
We’ll help you to understand and engage with the communities that are key to your project’s success.
If you are bidding for or delivering public sector contracts, we’ll help you put together community benefit proposals that add social value – it could be training and job opportunities, supply chain management or other projects that the client and local community identifies as important.
Community Consultation is an increasing priority for many businesses and organisations. It sounds simple. But communities don’t have uniform views – so we’ll help you to understand and engage with the communities that are key to your project’s success. Sometimes that will mean a wide ranging consultation and other times more selective engagement with groups and individuals who will help you to deliver. We have a track record of working with developers, the public sector and communities and understand the sometimes competing, but more often complementary, objectives of all.
Fiona set up streets-UK in 2006. She is a qualified general practice surveyor and has worked in the private and public sector. Fiona has been at the forefront of a more inclusive approach to development and believes that robust consultation can have benefits for both clients and communities. As well as being a surveyor she is an accredited mediator.
Dave joined streets-UK in 2008. He qualified as a general practice surveyor in 1991 and specialised in property and asset management both as a consultant and a partner in several national real estate firms. He understands procurement, employability and supply chain management and has a focus on helping clients deliver imaginative and relevant community benefits from their projects.
